It's Change vs. More of the Same
LAKE WORTH BEACH — Attorney, activist and CD-23 congressional candidate Victoria Doyle officially qualified for the August 18 primary ballot, setting up a contest between change and more of the same with Rep. Lois Frankel. Victoria Doyle issued the following statement:
"Democrats in Congress have been too complacent in pushing back on the Trump administration's egregious and illegal actions here at home and around the world. Voters across Florida and especially here in Palm Beach County are anxious for change. I hear it every day, everywhere I go. The economy isn't working for working people, housing costs are outrageous, food and gas prices are sky high, and our elected representatives are focused on small, incremental changes rather than the transformational actions we need to turn our country around.
"I am thrilled to qualify for the ballot in CD-23 and share my vision for what Congress should be. Our incumbent is comfortable with the status quo, but Floridians are not. I look forward to taking my challenge directly to Lois Frankel, and letting voters decide which of us has the better vision for the future.
