VICTORIA DOYLE CAMPAIGN STATEMENT ON FRANKEL SUPPORTER'S DISGUSTING PUSH POLL

LAKE WORTH BEACH — Rep. Lois Frankel or her supporters have begun a "push poll" voicing fabrications and lies about Victoria Doyle, who is running against Frankel in CD-23. Voters in the district began receiving the poll via text over the weekend.

Push polls are an underhanded campaign tactic that introduce biased information disguised as legitimate public opinion. The intended purpose is to push information rather than gather data. For instance, this push poll on behalf of Frankel claims that Victoria Doyle "has more than $100,000 in unpaid taxes and had a lien filed against her by the state" — claims that are verifiably untrue.

Doyle campaign manager Philip Katz issued the following statement:

"It's fitting that Lois Frankel and her allies are resorting to questionable campaign tactics to defeat Victoria Doyle, who has been leading a growing grassroots campaign against corruption and career politicians like Lois Frankel. This despicable push poll is the tactic of a desperate politician looking to hold onto power by any means, despite being long past the ability to be a productive member of Congress. Frankel can't discuss issues, because she doesn't actually do anything in Congress except shill for AIPAC and Netanyahu. This is the year voters are done with politicians who only talk but never accomplish anything. Change is coming, and Lois Frankel will be going.
