LAKE WORTH BEACH — Democrats on the House Oversight Committee held a field hearing in West Palm Beach today, the epicenter of Jeffrey Epstein's crimes. Attorney, activist and CD-23 congressional candidate Victoria Doyle issued this video on all her social media. The transcript follows:
"I'm standing outside West Palm Beach City Hall, where the Democrats on the House Oversight Committee are holding a shadow hearing. I could not get in because it was invitation only — a very elite club, just like the whole Epstein saga has been.
"Without Barry Krischer, this hearing is sorely lacking. He knows WHY Palm Beach County threw the case for Epstein and turned on the victims. He was the Palm Beach County State Attorney who — after Palm Beach detectives and chief of police had an almost 60-count indictment against Epstein based on the testimony of 36 victims — girls — met with Epstein's lawyer Alan Dershowitz.
"After that meeting, according to Julie Brown of the Miami Herald's reporting, the whole case flipped from prosecuting Epstein to getting dirt on the girls and calling them prostitutes. Krischer is not testifying today.
"Lois Frankel was mayor the whole time — from 2003 to 2011 — and said nothing at the time. Nothing. She and Krischer were both elected Democrats when this city was a lot smaller. When all this went down.
"Do you think it's believable when she says she knew nothing of what was going on with a billionaire and over 35 victims in her backyard? Today she's up on the dias. We need to hear from her. She should be one of the witnesses today, not one of the questioners. If she knew nothing, she can tell us under oath, not at a press conference.
"Later when she ran for Congress in 2012, she took campaign money from Epstein's lawyers. Why? She took campaign money from Barry Krischer. Why?
"Ric Bradshaw — another elected Democrat — was and is the sheriff here, who let Epstein out of the local jail on work release six days a week from 10am to 10pm. And we know Epstein abused more girls during those 13 months. Bradshaw is not here today testifying.
"Frankel said nothing publicly until Julie K. Brown at the Miami Herald brought the story to light in 2018. I'm primarying her in the August primary. Because transparency and accountability are everything in public service.
"It is time for change. And true transparency for this entire Epstein case.
