VICTORIA DOYLE LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN FOR CD-23 AFTER REDISTRICTING
District is Similar to CD-22, Better Positions Her with the Community
LAKE WORTH BEACH — Attorney and activist Victoria Doyle is running for Congress in CD-23. An analysis of the redistricting landscape determined that Governor DeSantis’ partisan gerrymander is likely to hold, so the campaign is readjusting and expanding into the new district. Victoria Doyle released the following statement:
“The new district is very similar to the area I have been campaigning in for the past year, but now includes areas that are even more receptive to my message. Our grassroots campaign is moving into Riviera Beach, Mangonia Park, and the western parts of West Palm Beach — neighborhoods that are aching for change.
“Right now, more than 60 percent of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, the middle class has been decimated, and undertaxed billionaires are legally buying the government and refusing to pay living wages. We need structural changes to our economy but special interest money in politics has made that impossible. People want guaranteed healthcare, affordable housing, affordable childcare, and lower electricity prices. The status quo, represented by the incumbent in this district, will never lead us to the changes Floridians want.”
