VICTORIA DOYLE CALLS OUT LOIS FRANKEL AFTER HEATED CONFRONTATION AT HUMAN RIGHTS COUNCIL EVENT IN PALM BEACH COUNTY

LAKE WORTH BEACH — Last night at the Palm Beach County Human Rights Council’s annual winter event, Rep. Lois Frankel angrily confronted opponent Victoria Doyle over her criticism of Frankel’s vote last summer expressing “gratitude” to ICE for “protecting the homeland.”

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is an out-of-control rogue law enforcement agency given virtual carte blanche by the Trump administration, increasingly linked to shootings and violent arrests.

Victoria Doyle released a statement following the confrontation:

“Last night, after attending the Human Rights Council event in West Palm Beach and greeting supporters, I was stopped by Lois Frankel and confronted over my criticism of her vote in Congress expressing gratitude to ICE.

She has never explained that vote, nor expressed regret for it. That is the problem.

Lois Frankel is not used to being held accountable. But voters deserve answers. Her reaction only confirmed how out of touch she is with the district and with what families are experiencing right now.

This race is about bringing real change — giving voters a voice in Congress and challenging policies that are hurting our communities.

If you support Lois Frankel, that is your choice. But if you want change, I am your candidate.

I’m Victoria Doyle, and I am running for Congress in Palm Beach County to earn your vote.”
