VICTORIA DOYLE'S Q1 FILING SHOWS GRASSROOTS MOMENTUM VS. LOIS FRANKEL'S RELIANCE ON PACS
LAKE WORTH BEACH — Victoria Doyle is running a grassroots campaign challenging Rep. Lois Frankel in FL-22. Frankel is a prodigious fundraiser, collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars every quarter. A full 96% of her funding comes from PACs, corporations and billionaires, including Big Sugar, Big Pharma, Big Real Estate Developers, and increasingly, AIPAC, which rewards Frankel for unconditional support of Netanyahu. By contrast, Victoria Doyle's fundraising comes from small donors who want big money out of politics. Campaign manager Philip Katz issued the following statement on Q1 fundraising:
"Victoria Doyle's grassroots fundraising comes from donors across the country who want change in Congress. This quarter our campaign has 900 unique small donors with a median contribution of $15. To date, our campaign has raised $168,017 from individuals who want change, Citizens United overturned, solutions for the failing economy, and Medicare for All. Our supporters want leaders who are accountable to the voters, not Big Donors.
"By contrast, PACs are showering Lois Frankel with cash, which raises the question: Who is she really working for? To bump up her small donor support she is running a texting campaign begging for money that is embarrassing at best and desperate at worst. And absurdly misleading — her seat flips nothing blue, much less the whole state of Florida!
"Voters are disgusted by big money in politics and want leaders who listen to the people instead of PACs and corporations. Victoria Doyle proudly takes no donations from PACs or corporations."
