Victoria’s Platform:

A Fighter for the Majority of Americans.

The days of politicians centering big donors over regular people must end. From the grocery store to the rent check, everything costs too much.

Fight Income Inequality

The cost of living is too high. Wages have not kept up, while CEO salaries and stock buy-backs are prioritized. We must raise the minimum wage, expand unions, and guarantee paid family and medical leave.

We must close tax loopholes, and fund the IRS’ enforcement staff so they can focus on the biggest tax cheats, who engage in complicated accounting schemes.

We also must pass a version of the “Tax Excessive CEO Pay Act,” under which companies would pay higher taxes when the ratio of their CEO pay to their typical worker pay exceeds 100:1. [Walmart’s ratio is 930:1, for example – its CEO made $27.4 million in 2024 – 930 times the median Walmart worker’s salary of $29,469.]

Guarantee Healthcare

We are overdue to enact Medicare for All. We are the richest country in the world, and the only one without healthcare guarantees. We spend more money on healthcare than any other peer country and have the worst outcomes.

It’s time to face the facts: our for-profit system is getting more expensive and less effective every year. Medicare for All would end co-pays and high deductibles, and save our economy billions annually, according to the bipartisan Congressional Budget Office.

Make Housing Affordable Again

Too many Floridians can’t afford to buy a home. We must outlaw private equity companies buying private housing, which lowers supply and drives up prices.

We must foster the building of affordable housing in ecologically responsible ways. And we must establish a federal reinsurance program to protect property in climate-affected states like Florida.

Respect and Strengthen Individual Rights

Human rights are not political. We must reject the politicization of individual rights and the government’s wrongful insertion of itself into our private lives.

We need to codify the Supreme Court’s decisions protecting individual rights, including Roe v. Wade, which guarantees access to reproductive healthcare, and the Obergefell decision, which guarantees marriage equality.

We also must legislate around bad Supreme Court decisions, like Second Amendment overreaches, and implement gun safety regulations in support of our fundamental right not to be killed as a consequence of reckless gun availability.

Enact Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Our immigration system is broken and cruel, but it can be fixed. We must streamline the path to citizenship. We must improve border control with technology, and demand accountability from our border agents.

We must welcome and protect refugees fleeing persecution in the American tradition. Finally, we must work with domestic industries that hire immigrants, like agriculture, construction, and tourism, to support both business and immigrant success and safety.

Manage Climate Change

Floridians know climate change is real and destructive, and that we must take steps to manage it. Implementing clean renewable energy is no longer an option.

We must streamline our national move away from fossil fuels, strengthen water and air quality, and address rising sea levels, warmer sea temperatures, and a warming planet.

Reform Congress

We must make Congress more accountable to the voters, and less beholden to special interests. To this end, campaign finance reform is essential, and overturning Citizens United, the egregious Supreme Court decision that reversed century-old campaign finance restrictions, and enabled corporations and other outside groups to spend unlimited money on elections, is key.

We also must ban stock trading by members. And we must pass a federal ban on political and racial gerrymandering, and demand that independent redistricting commissions draw fair maps.

Finally, we must eliminate the Electoral College, a slave-era relic, to elect the President by popular vote.

Reform the Supreme Court

Americans no longer trust the US Supreme Court to be a politically neutral body. Justices are picked by partisan politician machines, several Justices are ideologically extreme, and investigations of corruption are warranted.

We must expand the Supreme Court to 13 members, mirroring the number of Circuit Courts of Appeals, and we must discontinue lifetime Supreme Court tenure, which fosters unaccountability and Justices serving way past retirement age.

Victoria Doyle Statement On International Holocaust Remembrance Day

“International Holocaust Remembrance Day marks the anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz-Birkenau concentration camp. It is a reminder of the evil that hate, bigotry and intolerance can lead to if not stamped out by those with the ability to do so, whether they are in political office, or just ordinary people who know the difference between right and wrong. The horror of the Holocaust must never happen again.

“This remembrance has a special significance right now, as we in our own country undertake a battle against hate, bigotry and intolerance. Communities are under attack, children and families are hiding out, and government agents murder American citizens in broad daylight. We are better than this. We know better than this. Let us look to the victims and survivors of the Holocaust to be our guiding light in these perilous times as we pledge Never Again.”

Victoria Doyle Applauds Lois Frankel For Following Her Lead Calling For Noem Impeachment

“I appreciate Lois Frankel recognizing that Floridians are fed up with the lawlessness and incompetence that Kristi Noem has fostered at the Department of Homeland Security. But let’s be honest: Lois didn’t call for Noem’s impeachment until I did, while pointing out her vote last summer expressing ‘gratitude’ to ICE. Apparently, until Lois was embarrassed on this issue she was content to stay quiet.

“Floridians deserve a leader who will speak her mind and call out abuses when they happen, not after being backed into a corner. Congress needs leadership that is bold from the start, without waiting to gauge public opinion first. It’s time for change in District 22.”

Statement Of CD-22 Congressional Candidate Victoria Doyle On The ICE Shooting In Portland

“Another day, another shooting by ICE, and another opportunity for Lois Frankel to issue an apology for voting to express her gratitude to ICE. It hasn’t happened, and it likely won’t. Lois Frankel is not in touch with her constituents, who are fed up with the lawlessness of the Trump administration and are demanding change. When I’m representing you in Congress, I will join the rising chorus and demand stricter rules for ICE, including a stop to racial profiling, no masks for agents to hide behind, and name tags for transparency. We need bold change, and we aren’t getting it from Lois Frankel.”

Move is in Response to the Legislature Renaming PBI for Trump Against Community Wishes

“I’m Victoria Doyle, and I’m running for Congress in Palm Beach County, where the Florida Legislature is on the verge of renaming Palm Beach International Airport after the current president, Donald J. Trump. Because it’s never enough with these MAGA Republicans.

“Never mind that the airport falls in a blue county and we did not vote him. Never mind that they already named one of the biggest thoroughfares in this county leading from the airport to Mar-a-Lago Donald J Trump Boulevard. And never mind that the gateway to the Treasure Coast is now going to be named after a convicted felon, adjudicated rapist, conman, grifter and entirely possibly a pedophile.

“Meanwhile, last week Trump filed trademark applications for goods and services in connection with the renamed airport — presumably to profit from this latest act of rank sycophancy.

“As a 30-year trademark law specialist, I can tell you those applications are fraudulent on their face. You cannot get a trademark in this country unless you plan to use it commercially. Yet the Trump Organization recently told the State and County: ‘To be clear, the President and his family will not receive any royalty, licensing fee, or financial consideration whatsoever from the proposed airport renaming.’

“While the Florida bill requires a license agreement to use The Trump Organization name, they are ‘willing to provide this right to his hometown county at no charge.’

“So which one is it, Mr. President? Are you going to grift and profit off this airport rename or not?

“Regardless, when I get to Congress, the first bill I will introduce will be to prevent the Federal Aviation Administration, or FAA, from approving naming any airports for convicted felons.

“Palm Beach County has owned and managed our sweet airport since 1959. We the residents and voters of PBC do not want this rename and it is offensive and arrogant of Republicans in Tallahassee to shove this down our throats.”
