VICTORIA DOYLE LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN FOR CONGRESS IN DISTRICT 22, CHALLENGING REP. LOIS FRANKEL
Attorney and Activist Offers Change vs More of the Same, Will Attack Income Inequality and Promote Medicare For All
LAKE WORTH BEACH - Victoria Doyle, a Lake Worth Beach attorney and activist, launches her grassroots campaign for Florida's 22nd Congressional District seat against longtime incumbent Rep. Lois Frankel at an event with supporters Thursday, January 15 at the Beach Club at Lake Worth Beach.
Citing the need for change in Congress, a focus on income inequality and the necessity of reining in soaring healthcare costs, Victoria Doyle calls for a fresh approach and boldness in dealing with Donald Trump and the Republicans. She is not taking corporate or PAC donations, unlike Lois Frankel, and would never vote to express "gratitude" to US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), as Frankel did last summer.
Speaking in support of Victoria Doyle's campaign will be noted community leaders, including Adrienne Percival, president of Palm Beach County National Organization for Women (NOW) on women's rights and reproductive rights; Nick Ostheimer, president of Florida Atlantic University (FAU) Democrats, on youth engagement and their top issues in the midterms; Ricky Aiken of Inner City Innovators in West Palm Beach, on at-risk youth and community involvement; and Tristan Blake, a Fourth Grader from The Greene School who will share his thoughts on Building Bridges and the lessons he has learned from Dr. Martin Luther King.
