VICTORIA DOYLE HOSTS WINTER BREAK ICE CREAM PARTY FOR UNDERSERVED STUDENTS AT WPB ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Pleasant City Elementary School in West Palm Beach reaches a primarily underserved community, with 89 percent of students categorized as economically disadvantaged, according to US News & World Report’s Best Elementary Schools Rankings. It is a public school in the School District of Palm Beach County, with 280 students in pre-K to grade 5. To celebrate the holiday break, Victoria Doyle will host an ice cream party with a ice cream truck for students and teachers on Friday afternoon, the last day of school for the year.
“Everybody deserves a treat, and who doesn’t love ice cream?,” asks Victoria Doyle, candidate for Congress in CD-22. “The students and teachers at Pleasant City Elementary School worked hard all semester, and this is just a way to congratulate them on a job well done.”
