Josh Wiel

PHILIP KATZ, Campaign Manager

Weil is a 41-year-old teacher and single father of two boys in Orlando. Through his Congressional and Senate run, Weil has been endorsed and supported by numerous organizations including the Florida Education Association, the Florida LGBTQ+ Democratic Caucus, and Progressives for Democracy in America — Florida Chapter. Weil's theory is that there are two groups of dissatisfied voters: Democrats and those who voted for Republicans who didn't bargain on the direction Trump has taken. Following a nationally watched campaign for U.S. Congress in Florida District 6, Josh Weil came up 14 points short to Republican Randy Fine in a special congressional election. However, he stunned political observers by raising more than $15 million in a district that had elected a Republican by 33 points just five months earlier.

VICTORIA DOYLE, Candidate for Congress FL-22

After 10 years in the District, Victoria feels it's time for change. She sees how many Democrats in Congress are clinging to a failing status quo. New energy and fresh ideas - unbeholden to special interests - are sorely needed to resist Trump II, and progress a worker-centered Democratic agenda. Victoria is a lawyer, mother, and Lake Worth Beach resident. Victoria plans to address Florida's affordability crisis head on, along with the climate crisis, gun violence crisis, extreme income inequality, and our unfair tax system that grossly benefits the ultra rich. She is clear about placing blame where blame should lie, i.e., on unchecked greed and dark campaign money, not on hard-working, tax-paying immigrants or tiny minority groups. Victoria will be a representative for ALL in the District, and is committed to holding regular, public community-engagement sessions while serving in Congress.
