I live in Lake Worth Beach, and my community represents what Florida means to me.

It’s diverse yet connected. It’s artsy and fun. It’s welcoming and caring. This is the Florida I love, and find myself compelled to defend and protect.

I discovered Palm Beach County in 2015, bought a house, and after visiting for several years - and not wanting to leave - moved to Lake Worth Beach permanently in 2021. I’ve been a local activist, protesting right-wing extremism, canvassing for Democratic candidates, and helping "cure the vote" after voters' mail-in ballots were rejected, all the while working full-time as an attorney at major law firms in NYC and Florida.

Being an attorney in the middle of an arts community might seem like an odd fit, but my work revolved around intellectual property, which is the legal term for people’s creative ideas. My job was to protect American originality, creativity and innovation, and IP is the most valuable asset of most companies. Can you imagine the value of the Disney, Amazon, and Coca-Cola brand names to name a few? Immense!

So why am I running? The Democrats need high energy, forward-thinking, creative fighters right now and our current representative, Lois Frankel, is not meeting the moment. She seems content to do the bare minimum, while expecting voters to re-elect her so she can “hold the line” – yet the line has moved so dramatically to the right during her tenure, with growing threats to democracy and the American way of life, diminished personal liberties, and increasing unaffordability, it is not enough. 

I’m Victoria Doyle, and if you want to see someone in Congress who will fight like hell to improve your economic well-being, reform the tax code to end loopholes for billionaires, protect your individual rights, your Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, and the very existence of essential agencies like NOAA and FEMA in our hurricane-prone state, then I’m your candidate. I’ll also take on this administration who keeps hurting the vulnerable, chain-sawing essential government agencies, and damaging the economy with arbitrary tariffs, unaffordable tax cuts on those who need them least, and who all but promotes political violence and hate-fueled division among ourselves and our neighbors.
